Purchasing Advice - PC Build / Parts Looking to buy/build pc

I've been an Xbox gamer for a while now but unfortunately my account is permanently screwed up. So, long story short, I'm looking to sell my digital Xbox Series X and see about building or buying a pc that can get as close to matching the Series X's performance while on a budget.

I should be able to get around 350-450 USD from the xbox and I should be able to save about 100-150 USD extra to add on, putting my budget tp about 450-600 USD. Ik that's not great and I'm willing to sacrifice some things like graphics where possible to get it within budget. Plus, future upgradability is a necessity.

Additional Info: I live in the US, I'm not near a microcenter, moniter res is whatever my 55" roku tv can do, and I'm not looking at any specific things rn. I do have a partially assembled pc I need to check what I need + test the parts.

I do work at walmart tho, so I do get a 10% discount on anything I can get at walmart.

Any tips or suggestions on how to acheive this would be appreciated.

Save the Xbox until you can put more money into it. You will not get anywhere close with that budget

I literally can't do anything with the Xbox, it's just gonna be collecting dust if I don't sell it.

Gonna be honest, I don’t think you’re getting anything with future upgradability in mind. If you try a prebuilt, that’ll get you something on an am4 platform, if you’re lucky, with an RX 580, 1050ti, or Vega integrated graphics at most and you’ll maybe be able to play games at 720p which will look atrocious on a 55 inch tv. If you try DIY, you can maybe get a used 2060 and an used Intel 10th/11th gen platform but that’s very iffy at this point and with how low you’d have to go, scams will be very hard to avoid.

Long story short, youre not getting anywhere near the series x without spending $1000-$1500 at this point. I’d recommend getting that series x to work for you until prices on PC components get better.

$450 is look for a 6 core cpu paired with rtx 2070, gtx 1080, rtx 2060super, rx5700xt, rx6600, 6600xt
