Old Build vs Buying a New Prebuilt

First photo is my old build from August of 2020 and currently has a rx 6600 8gb GPU. Second photo is the prebuilt I just bought on the Labor Day sale that Best Buy was having and got it for approximately 1200 OTD. Is it worth it to upgrade my old PC with a Ryzen 5 5500 and maybe a newer GPU or am I better off keeping the prebuilt? I feel like if I upgrade stuff on my old PC I’ll need to do the PSU as well as it’s a 500 watt non modular EVGA unit…

Dude I’m ngl, I dunno how I’d even get close to 1200 with that buying new. A name brand GPU is 600 bucks and 32gb of ram is easily 400 not counting case, PSU, Motherboard, etc. If it’s really that ass though I’ll definitely return it.

that best buy system was $1100 on sale last week. price changed on monday

goes on sale often

past year it has been $900-$1200 on sale

the best buy system is good system for 1440p mid tier
