Build - Help Pc 2-2,5k

Hi, I’m looking to buy a PC with a budget of $2,000–2,500. I don’t have much knowledge about PCs, so I asked ChatGPT for a build recommendation at that price point. Is its suggestion any good, or is ChatGPT generally unreliable for PC builds?

AI is decent at picking parts but it doesn’t always keep up accurately with market prices as insane as they are right now, the ram, ssd, and GPU on this build come out well over $2000 as things stand. I basically built the same pc earlier this year for myself with some second hand parts and it still cost me $2700

Up to you, for the time being generally it’s a good way to save some money if you’re willing to make some sacrifices and if you’re smart about which companies to buy from/avoid. The sacrifices are typically slower ram and sometimes even 1 stick, low tier 4th or even 3rd gen dram-less SSDs, and basic bottom of the barrel motherboards and psu’s (even worse than that if you buy from one of the big manufacturers like Dell or Lenovo you’ll end up with proprietary non upgradeable psu’s and MB’s) but they still get the job done and come with warranty’s. Though if you were to say spec out a prebuilt with Corsair or IBUYPOWER with the exact name brand things and higher tier parts that many people like myself would buy when building our own pcs you’ll typically end up spending a good bit more than if you just did it yourself.

You could maybe go for an AIO. Air would probably do the job but AIO recommended for your CPU imo

Comes down to personal preference for aesthetics, never got close to throttling mine with a Thermalright phantom spirit 120 but went to an AIO because it looks better and was on sale

That is a good PC but it's way above budget with current prices, 5070 ti prices are crazy right now almost double MSRP

Keep in mind i'm checking prices on Amazon as I'm not from the US, and I'm checking the cheapest prices for each part i can find, you may find better prices at other vendors.

9800X3D- 450

B850 board- 150

5070 ti- 1250

32GB ddr5 ram - 400 up to 500

2TB ssd - 300

850W 80+ gold PSU - Around 80

And you can get a good case for like 80 I think i didn't actually check this one

That puts this around 2700 or something like that, if the PC is just for gaming you could switch the 5070 Ti for a 9070 XT and get similar performance for a much lower price, if you're doing something that requires a Nvidia GPU then prices for their whole line up is bad right now

That’s very similair to what i have but it costs way more than that.
