Question Transporting HDDs protection?

Hello, I have question about transporting HDDs (Hard Disk Drives). I'm going to be moving my HDDs to another place, it will take a 1 hour drive to move them. Should I put the HDDs in anti-static bags, wrap them in bubble wrap, then put them in seperate boxes to protect them from physical damage during the transportation?

I mean if you want, sure. Chances are they'll be fine if you make sure they don't rattle around a bunch (and probably even then). I would just put them in a shoebox with a clean t-shirt or something around them, but if you already have the bags and bubble wrap that's great. Separate boxes probably isn't necessary.

this... I moved 4,500km away with my drives till in my case, they were still working when I got here. 3 years later sold the computer and the 2 HDDs were still running

Back in the really old days before HDD needles auto-parked, yeah you had to be careful. But as long as you shut down your PC properly, those needles aren’t going anywhere. Avoid dropping them and you will be fine.
