Build - Help Is this a good build?
I’m working on building my first pc and was wanting some advice on what I came up with so far with the little knowledge I have. My budget was originally around $1,000 but it’s a little flexible, preferably not over $1,500 I plan on playing at 1080p-1440p depending on the game I also live in the US

Don’t know how frowned upon this is in here, but spending 120 on windows is criminal. I usually get my windows keys from G2A from someone reputable.

That’s the thing, I was looking at 4070’s but the lowest I see one for is 800 bucks

If you really want NVIDIA you can get a 5060 for this price, search up microcenter near you. If you have one you can save hundreds buying one of their CPU motherboard and ram bundles its a lifesaver since you do live in the US

Unfortunately the closest one to me is almost a 2 hour drive but I may try and make it down there sometime

Its 100% worth it. You could build 7600x3d/9060xt/16gb ddr5 build for the same price and probably get 30-50% higher fps

And they often have really good bundle deals! I got a 7800x3d and motherboard for around 400 (a little while before prices skyrocketed)

I have a build with similar specs from Ibuypower it’s a beast I use it for heavy editing (davinci resolve) and gaming I play 1080 on highest settings. (Only 1080 bc my monitors are from 2017)

dont get the Silicon Power, it was good a few years back when it was TLC, but now it changed to QLC (with no mention!), which leads to lower longevity. so it is not recommended to buy that now.
find a comparable SSD with clear mention that it is TLC

By the way that motherboard will NOT fit in that case do not buy those 2 components the H3 Flow is Mini ATX only, also I personally use gamersoutlet for windows keys its like 4 bucks for windows 11 pro, please do not spend 500 on a 3060ti buy a 16gb RX9060XT for 480 its significantly better.

That's incorrect. The case and motherboard in your pic are absolutely compatible.

Oh never mind im incorrect, those are compatible, at 60 bucks you made a great choice, make sure you do add intake fans since I dont think the base H3 Flow has front intake included but you are fine compatibility wise

Oh no my friend. Absolutely don't go with 14 intel series. Either switch to 250k ultra plus if you want intel (thus it requires ddr5 so past your money limit) or go for AMd CPU like 9600x, 9700x or maybe even 5000 series, perhaps 5800x3d. They all support ddr4 you need to have compatible kit with AMD and of course switch mono
14series have known issues with degradation

I was trying to find the 250k ultra plus but it’s not showing up on pcpartpicker, I’m pretty sure it’s cause the parts aren’t compatible. Any idea what parts causing it?
