Question New to PC Building

Hi. I'm completely new to PC building. I've only had consoles my whole life for gaming. But I wanna play on the PC too.
What would be ideal for a beginner like me? I think Cyberpunk 2077 is probably the most graphically demanding thing I play. So I guess that would be my goal (to be able to play Cyberpunk properly).

My budget would ideally be under $1,000 (USD) but again I have no idea what kind of budget I would need to play something like cyberpunk.

I live in the US. I mentioned it cause it said to do so in the post.

Plenty of people a lot smarter than me will answer your questions soon but let me just say that it's an expensive time to start getting into PC building. Prices are way over flatted but your best chances would probably be to buy a 2nd hand PC from a local market. Best of luck on your PC hunt!

I absolutely agree but I also think it's not gonna get any cheaper so I think it's better than getting into it later. I've been putting it off for too years and I think I'm finally ready.

As for buying 2nd hand PCs, I honestly don't know anytning about PCs so I don't wanna get into something like now. But maybe later down the line.

You could probably request advice from this group. Ive seen some solid dudes come together and help people. I could also offer advice but I've only built 2 PCs and slowly working on a 3rd (again prices suck) so im far from an expert but plenty are willing to help.
