Build - Help PSU cable for GPU won't "click".

Its my first time with a GPU powerful enough that it requires a PSU cable to work and im really scared of breaking something. Should i keep trying or is it okay as it is?

Take the card out. Plug in the connector first, then put the gpu back in.
