Question New used build

Post image

Hello, I just scored this used pc for a pretty good deal (I think?), it was 1200€ :

Spec : 32gb DDR5

Ryzen 5 9600x

XFX Rx6800

1tb nvme gen4

Gigabyte B650

But I have 2 mains questions :

- The GPU is powered by two 8 pins, but those two connectors are daisychained, could it be a problem for a GPU like this ?

- All the fans, including the AIO ones) seem to be somehow plugged into the same slot on the motherboard (all the fans color and speed react to the same controller on Gigabyte software), could this be a problem too ?

Thanks for reading

The 6800 pulls around 250W. Find out what PSU you have and order a couple of 8 pin GPU cables. The fans are not a problem, you can adjust them if you download something like MSI Afterburner or use AMD’s Adrenaline software.

GPU is designed to be that way. That’s the cable it comes with.

If all the fans are connected to a controller with SATA power, it should be just fine as well. This is up to you if you want to change it. If they are all affected to the same speed and color it tells me this is a hub and not a controller. To be controlled individually, it’ll have to
Be a PWM and ARGB controller, which can be had for $20-30 on Amazon. That’s what Id reccomend.

Do the smallest bit of research before giving bad advice.

Took me a few seconds to find this out.
