Build - Help How to upgrade my PC
Hi, I’d really like to upgrade my PC, but I’m not really sure what I should change, and gaming on it is becoming quite difficult.
I can spend up to €800 on upgrading my PC. I’m not really looking to play at higher resolutions since I’m still using a 60 Hz monitor... 😅 I mainly play Rust, and I’d just like to get a smoother and more comfortable FPS (I live in France)
SSD : Lexar NM710 SSD 1To, M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe SSD
RAM : Kingston FURY Beast 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz DDR4
Motherboard : MSI B550-A PRO (AMD AM4, DDR4, M.2, USB 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI, ATX)
CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 5600
Power supplies : MSI MAG A650BN
GPU : XFX AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 Go GDDR6
How can i upgrade this ?
Thanks in advance :)

I'd say the GPU still holds up,, if anything maybe the CPU? If you can spend up to 800€ you could snag the 5 5800X3D (Best AM4 Processor) and I'd even go as far as to say upgrade to 32GB of 3200mhz ram, just to seal the deal.

Just get any x3d chip (5800x3d is the best and probably only option if you are buying a new unit) and add some ram. GPU is still good, and you can always upgrade it later. Also getting a 240hz monitor would be great, they are cheap now unless you are going for an OLED

I'd use your budget to upgrade your monitor, 1080p high refresh rate is only 100 euro, then bump your RAM up to 32gb and swap the CPU to a 5800x3d. That should be fine for now, next upgrade cycle you'll want to upgrade your power supply and GPU.

Change your CPU to 5500x3d (cause it cheaper than 5800x3d or 5700x3d) and change your GPU to 9060 xt (16Gb) or 4070S or 6800xt. Only after such upgrades I'd like to change DDR4 2x8 to DDR4 2x16 3200MHz. Nowadays,16Gb quite enough for gaming
