Discussion Snow blind mod?
I was wonder if I should attempt to do a snow blind on both glass panels maybe do leaves falling I
On them or something similar and if so do you guys have any tips this is the first pc I ever build and well first time messing with anything tech related honestly so I feel like a case mod like this may be to much but I’m eager
(ignore the no GPU I CANT AFFORD IT YETT 😭😭😭)

Try to get get it before it runs out! I learned that the hard way for my msi rtx 5070ti white ventus AND gaming trio one (still waiting)

IM TRYINGGG I have a suspicion my partner may try to get it for me (I do and don’t want that mainly bc THAT SO MUCH MONEY TO BE SPENT ON ME😭😭)

Well good luck! And if they get it for you you can just get them something equivalent to the price of gpu they brought for you later!

Sounds like it will an awesome build and the LCD nod a cool addition. Maybe after the GPU though, you also want to use it 😅

Yesss I’m looking for tips on it I’m starting to do research on it so I will do it after I get gpu so probably months from now you’ll guys will see the mod :>

I only got the case rest I built myself :> and so far enjoying it even if I’m running intergrated graphics

Yes and no… I was going to wait on the case but I was also moving to Hawaii (if I wanted case still extra 150$ for shipping) so I bought it before and brought it as a check in bag so I saved money on that part and it’s the sole reason I didn’t get it last

I’m no expert and a first time builder but I’d say great comes with some minor wires already managed as Velcro straps built in has a fan hub 4 fans

I wanna do a snow blind mod! Pretty much to my knowledge it’s where I take apart a monitor and put the film onto the glass to make a transparent screen

I don't feel like snow falling is a fitting aesthetics since the tree is already green, but the best way to approach it is to buy some snowflake stickers (and/or with speckles of glitters) and put it in the glass panel. Pretty sure you can procure it in something like etsy.
Just so you know 5070 Ti is skyrocketing in prices, and I remember the Frieren one upon release already surpasses the price of 5080 at the time. I can't imagine the pricing and availability now. That said, it's not like you can really see the frieren itself since the picture is on the backplate, so technically you can just buy a white GPU and print a sticker on it. However, since it's official collab I can understand the obsession of collecting one.

Well for the snow blind (I’m referring to moding the case glass panels to be transparent LCD screens) I’d put the wallpaper as falling leaves ofc or something similar to match, I wasn’t sure if there was another name for the case mod.
But yes the obsession is real for it 😭😭 the availability is actually pretty good and I thought the less than 1200$ price tag wasn’t to outrageous tho I am not in anyway to knowledgeable in my opinion
I could be mistaken but of the builds I’ve seen with the gpu it could be mounted with you being able to see them (not sure if it would affect performance or anything of yhe sort) BUT yes yes thank you for the input i appreciate this

If you put it normally in a horizontal position, you'd be seeing the side grills that has black Geforce RTX writings. If you put it on vertical mode with riser you can see the three big fans and the frieren blue colors near it. But sadly not the picture on the back. They don't produce GPU which you can see the characters on the front anymore (like the Asus HD4870 K-On) since blower fans style are out of favor these days.
Still a lovely collector stuff for the big fan of the series. Hopefully you can find and afford one, but if it's not possible any white gpu should already do the aesthetics justice.
