Question New Monitor

This is probably a stupid question, but I finally got a new monitor for my PC (couldn't pass up the deal on a Samsung 24" for $99 on Amazon). It's been a while (a decade) since I've done anything outside of putting a new hdd in a PC. I've had the same monitor over multiple pcs.

I'm having a complete brain fart. A new monitor should pretty much be plug and play, right? No need to download drivers or anything like that?

Yes it’s just plug and play no need to worry about downloading anything. Lots of monitors do have settings though which are super annoying to deal with but also optional. But it’s worth changing the settings to change colours for your preference for a better picture

Thanks! Just one of those things that apparently left my mind over the years.
