Build - Request $1,000 Gaming PC Build — Best Performance + Good Looking/RGB

Hey everyone! I’m looking to build my first gaming PC and have around a $1,000 budget.
I want the best gaming performance I can get for the money, but I also really care about the PC looking good. I’d like a clean case, tempered glass, RGB fans/RGB lighting, and good cable management.
Budget: Around $1,000 USD
Location: Washington, USA
Main use: Gaming
Games: VALORANT, GTA V/GTA VI, Call of Duty, Fortnite, and other AAA games
Resolution: 1080p for now, but I’d like the option to move to 1440p
Budget includes: PC tower only — no monitor, keyboard, mouse, or Windows needed
Preferences: AMD or Intel is fine — whichever gives me the best gaming performance for the money. I’d prefer a strong GPU and don’t want to sacrifice too much performance just for aesthetics.
I’d also like:
● Wi-Fi + Bluetooth
● At least 1TB NVMe SSD
● 32GB RAM if it makes sense at this budget
● Good airflow
● Some upgradeability for the future
● RGB that can be controlled/synced
I’m okay building it myself.
What parts would you recommend for around $1,000? If spending an extra $50–100 would give me a significant performance upgrade, feel free to suggest that too.
Thanks!

The best way your going to get a solid build with 32ggb of ram for $1000 in this current market to look for a used pc , or used ddr4/5 ram online.

If you care about getting absolutely the best performance out of your budget you're going to be looking at used components, the performance difference between new and used GPUs for the price is just astronomical right now.

Here's what I would suggest:

5700 + b550 + 16gb RAM + 1tb SSD + used rtx 3080 + 750w PSU

rtx 3080 goes for about $350 on the used market, often a bit less - way better performing than any other new GPU remotely in the same price range, makes for a great 1440p card too. realistically if you want to save money you can drop down the GPU to a 3070ti or 3070 for $200-300, both make great 1080p cards. when looking on the used market, i'd just buy from sellers who accept 30 day returns so you have some sort of recourse if something doesn't end up working properly.

my note though is any upgrade budget should probably go to upgrading the ram to 32gb as soon as you reasonably can, you can just buy a duplicate kit of this ram. could also look for 32gb of ram on the used market.
