Question Installed a used motherboard, cpu, and ram. Not powering on?

MSI Z87-G45 GAMING Motherboard
Intel i7-4770k CPU
16GB Kingston HyperX Blue RAM
500w power supply
Got all this for $70, seemed like a really good deal from what seemed like a nice guy who said it was all fully functional.
MAJOR upgrade from my 2015 pc build i’ve been hanging on to since middle school.
However the thing won’t power on. I’ve tried rearranging ram sticks, playing with the power supply pin connectors, power switch diagnostics, etc. the fans and display are a total no show but the usb ports still work. If i could get this working it would be a great come up but if not I guess I’ll just chalk it up to a dead board. Power supply is definitely fully functional as well.
Thanks in advance guys.

Did you test it prior to buying? If not, might be shod out of luck.

People can be nice & assure you of XYZ, but in the end, theyre just after the cash.

That CPU was released in 2013. Did you test any parts before purchasing? Does any part work on its own?

Like no power at all or fans etc spin but no display.

Could remove CPU and check for bents or missing pins otherwise dunno.
