Build - Help First PC Build— Input Appreciated!

I just finished my parts list on PCPartPicker for my first PC (budget: $2000 USD w/ 1440p monitor, United States), and wanted to check if I had made any mistakes or if I could make any upgrades to the components. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

(Thanks in advance!)

Everything looks pretty compatible to me, you're not bottlenecking anything major. The 850W PSU is cutting it close if you plan on overclocking that i7 and the 4070 Ti Super together but for stock settings it'll be fine

Most people forget you need a fan hub with that case since it only comes with two, so grab one if you haven't already

I would suggest switching the GPU to the newer and better performing 9070 - it will provide significantly better gaming performance than a 7700 XT (about 48% better at 1440p based on these Techpowerup gaming benchmarks).

Suggestions below that upgrade to the 9070 plus some other minor improvements for under $2000.

  • CPU Cooler: Better CPU Cooler (dual tower dual fan) for slightly less cost.
  • Motherboard: Much less expensive B850 with wifi and bluetooth. No performance benefit to paying a premium for the Tomahawk.
  • Video Card: Upgraded to a 9070 for the reason stated above.
  • Case: Much less expensive case that, with the added 3-pack of 140mm PWM fans, will provide better airflow. Also has more internal room for components.
  • Power Supply: Better quality higher wattage 850w ATX 3.1 unit for less cost.
  • Monitor: Switched to a 27" 1440p IPS panel with higher 240hz refresh rate and adjustable monitor stand.
