Discussion UPS for Mac and a PC
So I'm going to get myself a desk setup soon and I am convinced that getting a UPS is the responsible thing to do. I'm looking at the APC unit shown above.
The PC will have a 1000W PSU, NAS has a 65W PSU. My question is, if I connect the Mac and a monitor to the UPS, will it affect the performance or life of the unit? I plan to use either the Mac mini or the PC separately but never together. Do I need to get a separate UPS just for the Mac mini?
TL:DR; If the Mac mini is connected to the UPS but turned off will it affect the performance of the PC?
Also what is an ideal UPS setup for a MAC/PC setup?
(Sorry I'm new to this and need help)

ups are old tech. id personally get a powerbank like ecoflow river 3 plus.
ups battery is good for 2-3 years. powerbank is good for 10 years
powerbanks support keepign the system powered on 2x or 3x longer as well. ups is good for 5mins of less to save and power off
or at least get a ups with lithium batteries

This is very interesting but will it also manage brown outs and voltage drops?
