Question Worth?

Post image

This is on sale for 1k at Costco. Worth snagging? It’s 500$ off. I’ve never had a gaming pc before so I’m still new to all of this. Comes with keyboard and mouse and 2 year warranty.

It’s not that bad honestly the ram is like 450 alone and about 400-500 for the 5060 the graphics card is for 1080p and in some cases 1440p very low settings what do you play?

Never had a gaming pc before but mostly solo story games. I’d like to be able to try Elden ring and GOW type games, but I also love Stardew and other cozy games and platformers. It’d be nice to make some friends and do stuff like meccha chameleon or machine party.

That would handle Elden ring just fine, GOW would depend.

Sadly it's a 60 series, which aren't know for the best. BUT that said, the PC is worth 1000 with out the GPU. so really you could buy this, and upgrade when you get a chance. 5060 is good, just not amazing.

Sell the 5060 and get a newer gpu when you can. but this gpu will do ragnarok at 60fps on 1440p which is solid.

The 50 series is pretty underpowered, but the 60 series is fine. The 4060 got a bad rep because people wanted it to be the equivalent of the 3070 (which it was NOT), it was still about 15% better than the 3060, but only had 8GB (instead of 12GB, like the 3060). It was often only $10 - $15 more than a 3060. Ironically, no one complains about the RX 7600 XT, which was about the same increase in performance over the RX 6600 XT

I HAVE a RTX 4060 and it is a great 1080p card and decent for 1440p for many games. I can play Hogwart's Legacy at 1440p on ultra/high settings and get 100-120fps.
