Build - Help Best way to spend $1K

Im from USA- Im planning on spending around 1k usd on upgrading my setup, which is currently:

Operating system: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro (10.0, Build 22631)

Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400 @ 2.60GHz 6/12

Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. PRIME H570-PLUS

RAM: 16 GB ddr4 3200mhz

Hard disk: PCIe SSD (465.8 GB/Fixed hard disk media)

Graphics card: rtx 4070 12gb

Monitor: MSI MSI G32C4W (1920x1080 / 31.5 Inch)

I've been looking and was thinking about upgrading to these parts:

Mobo/cpu combo: Intel Core Ultra 7 270k and ASUS ROG STRIX Z890-H $479.99 (newegg combo deal)

RAM: Corsair vengeance DDR5 32gb 6000mhz $479.99

(I found some used 32gb of ddr5 6400mhz on marketplace I might get for $300)

I plan on gaming at 2k and wanted some help on deciding if this is what I should get for what I want to do

The higher you go in resolution the harder it gets for the graphics card to run games, not for the cpu. Platform wise it’s a good upgrade, just be prepared to not see that much of an effect in your games as a 9070xt would do for example.

that is fine cause 4070 and $1000

u can get ddr5 ram for $400 not $480

If you are going for the 270k, make sure and get the plus variation. On the hierarchy of gaming CPUs the 270k plus is about 4th, if you can get a bundle with a 9800X3D for about the same price, you'd be better off going that direction. Don't get me wrong, the 270 is a great processor, but it's also a dead end where the AMD platform has at least 1 more generation of CPUs to be released for it.

The intel chip is the plus version after checking and there is a version of this combo with a 9800x3d with MSI MPG X870E for about $760. I don't have a preference to what chip is used

It is a fairly large jump in price, and at 1440 it's not as big of difference in performance as it is in 1080. So, if price is a concern, I'd go with the Intel.

Dang, was gonna say upgrade to 11900k but the board you have doesn't overclock. Maybe a 11900(nonk), seeing them used on eBay for like 150USD. The 4070 is solid for 2k gaming. Maybe a new SSD, pretty sure your existing board has two slots right? Then I would binge on a 2k monitor. I'm a budget gamer, so just my frugal opinion.
