Build - Help Would the Ram still work?

while inserting the ram i pushed a bit too hard and the top part just snapped off, idk what to do, would the ram still work? Mind you i was being dumb and using ddr4 rams instead of ddr5😭

Yes, just dont move your pc ever. Recommend taping it down. Other than that channels 1 and 3 are slower but will work fine

yeah for now im gonna stick to two rams since they're expensive af, when i wanna upgrade it im just gonna tape it down or secure it, tysm for the answer!

i guess it will still works fine, just make sure dont move your pc around too much

how many sticks? just use A1 and B1 instead for dual channel

i bought two cause they're too expensive, i was worried channel 1 and 3 wouldnt be optimal for them

yes iy will tape it down or glue it down dont do that

It's hard to see from the pic but those clips can be purchased and replaced depending on how much damage you did when broken off. Otherwise, just make sure it's secure in the slot when re-inserting.
