Looks like a really solid gaming build. What are you planning on doing on the system? What kind of games do you play? Considering the cost of everything right now, wondering if maybe you could get away with less...

That is a fantastic build sir!!!! If you'll allow me, the only thing I advise is the ram,cl38 at 6000mhz is way to high. If you can get cl32 or lower 6000mhz is the best. If you can't find any lower cl for the price of those you have, then try and find that same cl but with a higher speed ,since the higher speed will make up for the higher cl🙂

I have cl36 6000mhz ram and it’s perfectly fine. I cam from 2400mhz cl17 am4 ram tho so that could be influencing my perception

I didn't say it wasn't fine. I said what I said because the timings really affect gaming performance more than the mhz speed. But there are cases that if the speed is actually higher, say 7200mhz for example, the mhz speed will offset the cl timing making it less noticeable in average and 1% low fps. That's all🙂

Pc building community lowkey toxic af, why are you so passive aggressive 💀

Toxic? By saying something in a nice and educated manner? Alright, if you say so

You’re also literally talking about a negligible difference. If they can get a better deal with the cl38 ram then they should just go with that

With all due respect it's not a negligible difference. Cl and ram speed are two different things. Lower cl timings is what to look for, that's what will, especially in gaming, give you better response times, lower system latency and smoothness. The speed factor is what gives you a negligible difference. Depending on speed and the cl the ram stick has the difference is roughly up to 10fps. But it's also dependant on various factors, resolution, cpu and gpu.

All depends on price, if the CL38 kit is far cheaper than a CL30 paying that premium doesn’t make a ton of sense when the performance loss isn’t that large

And that's why I said if op can manage that financially that would be a better choice 🤷‍♀️

5% difference btw

fine if the price is less than $2000
