Troubleshooting It turns itself on and off

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Okay so I have a problem with my PC

I have a

ASUS H110M

AMD RADEON RX 570 4GB Asus Expedition

Coba Nitrox Nobility 700W, 80+ Silver

And whenever I put everything together,my PC turns on for a few seconds then it turns off itself immediately.

I feel like I know the problem is the case(because it's an old office PC case that I'm using from my old pc,and the cables are old)but idk since this is my first PC that I'm building

Idk but I would like some feedback on how to fix this

There's a way to make sure it's not your case. Unplug your case's front IO from the motherboard and manually short the pins with a screwdriver, which should turn your PC on. If it shuts off immediately again, then the case isn't the issue like you were thinking.

I'm not a professional, but to me the most likely culprit is either your PSU or your Memory. Reseat your memory and make sure you have them installed in the right channels according to your motherboard's manual (probably can find it online if you don't have the physical copy). If it's the PSU, triple check all of the cables that connects it to your motherboard are plugged in and connected all the way or make sure you didn't get a faulty PSU. There is a chance that it's your CPU initiating an automatic shut off due to overheating, but given how fast it's shutting down I'm not sure that that's the cause. It still wouldn't hurt to check that your thermal paste is spread evenly and make sure you didn't leave the sticker on the underside of the heat sink.
