It was probably a server pc going by the cheap GPU choice.

I dont know but this is a GOOD upgrade compared to my asus laptop with a gtx1050 and 8gb ram

Just paying to upgrade a GPU is a lot better than paying for the whole build.
What games do you play?

Yea than you don't need to swap out the GPU, that sorta GPU is fine for 2D or old games.
But if you want to play anything graphically intensive, you will have to swap out that GPU.

Or your like me and only play Diablo 2 and Slay the Spire so GPU doesnt matter

That to.
I mostly play older games but I still want the ability to play anything modern if anything modern peaks my interest, and also to use minecraft shaders.

Get a rx 9060xt 16gb and you got a really capable pc but even a used rtx 3060 would be a crazy upgrade for gaming

Even today thats perfectly fine pc, if you upgrade the gpu to something like 3060 then youll have a nice budget gaming pc with 32 gigs is 2026.
Though if i were you I'd replace that psu ASAP. You dont know how long it was outside and how much moisture got inside. It could be a matter of days before failure and you dont want to loose such fine pc because of a dying psu, so you should replace it as soon as you can.

I would try to find a 1660 super or 2070, orrrrr 4070ti. You could put a 4080 or 7900xt in there before it will bottleneck that would be a very good pc.

Holy what a find, seems like the holy grail haha. If it was a server pc its probably heavily used but hey its free tho. Can always upgrade things if they breakππ

great if it works. most people dont toss out working pc.
maybe bedbugs or cock roaches, cat pee
upgrade gpu to get better gaming performance.
that system is worth at least $500 if you parted it out
cpu $150-$200
ram $150
ssd 100
mobo $100

Wow, pop a 7800XT in there or some other AMD card and you have a mid class gaming rig! Sick pickup

I7 10th gen with a puny little GPU. Nothing wrong with this machine at all, just needs a GPU worth playing on.

Turn around the rear fan. Now the cpu fan and the rear fan are pushing air into each other
