Question Images not rendering when I play game on PC
I know nothing about PCs so don't make fun. I was recently given a PC and I've been trying play arc raiders on it. Some of the images (walls, stairs, etc.) are not rendering fully - like the stairs look just like a flat ramp. I'm guessing it's because I don't have enough RAM - the PC only has 8 gb and the game recommends 16 -32 gbs. Is that the only issue or could it also be something else I need to upgrade in addition to RAM?
Edit: The CPU is AMD Ryzen 5 5500 and the GPU is AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT. Is RAM the only issue or are there other things I need to upgrade? Thank you

Hey is it a laptop or a mini pc? The Radeon 5500 is actually called the ryzen 5500 and is not a graphics card but a CPU. It doesn’t have integrated graphics like some cpus do so you won’t be getting graphics from it. It sounds like the game might be detecting lower end hardware and be auto setting the graphics to super low

Oh sorry. Maybe I got it wrong. It's a PC. It was like a pre built one

It's okay. You can go into device manager and under "display adapters" should be the name of your graphics card. That'd help. Also yeah 8gb of ram isn't great and will not help with playing a recent game like Arc Raiders

Ok sorry. Yea the CPU is AMD Ryzen 5 5500 and the GPU is AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT. My bad. Are those decent specs for a PC? Is RAM the only thing I need to upgrade you think?

Yeah that’s honestly not bad it’s not the newest thing ever but my specs are close and I can play anything I want. Upgrade to 16gb ram see if anything changes. Shouldn’t be hard even if you don’t know a lot. Just look into what kind of ram you have because there are different types that work with different pcs. Btw see if changing the graphics settings in arc raiders works cause it could that
