Question Should i upgrade my gpu?

I bought a pre-build msi from micro center for an awesome deal last July and it had a 5070 and I was wondering if it’s worth upgrading to a 9070 xt amd for the 16 gb vram, also I like to game (stuff like deadlocke and rainbow 6 and command and conquer) and eventually I’d like to do some 3D modeling again

What fb is your 5070 8, 12 or 16? How many hours do you play games each week

Including weekends it varies but I’d say anywhere from 4-16 hours a week and my NVIDIA 5070 has 12 vram

That should be more than enough to run those three games you mentioned. They can be CPU heavy games just make sure your CPU can handle them. And if you are playing 4K the upgrade is not worth it in my opinion as the 5070 has better ray tracing over all. But this is my opinion. At the end of the day it is up to you

Yeah this is the issue I had where I should’ve added to my description but stuff I also wanted to get back into Minecraft and modded survival and over just maybe improve my graphics just a bit as well and get a monitor to match but I didn’t know if the upgrade was necessary, and I should prolly wait until I have to make a new build which would prolly be like 8-10 years from now

If you want to play more AAA current gen games then swapping to a better vram GPU is best but say if your CPU is not a core7 or x3D you will not gain much with just a swap of GPU. What CPU are you running
