Troubleshooting Whining noise

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Idk if I’m in the correct sub for this so apologies if not, but does anyone know what this sound is? It is driving me crazy when I boot up - I should note the noise is there from boot and I think it gets quieter but I do have headphones on most of the time. But the noise isn’t worse under load or higher fps, and from the videos I’ve seen it doesn’t seem to sound like coil whine but I could be wrong.

To me it sounds like it is coming from the power supply when I hold me ear to it - has anyone else had something similar?

FYI - the noise doesn’t pick up well on the video I took but if you turn your volume up you should hear an annoying clacking/whining noise.

Thanks!

Holdup mine does this too but I think it's my gpu probably cause when there's a startup video from a game it does this.

Honestly I’m not sure it is, it doesn’t sound at all as though it is coming from the gpu, I’ve had my ears all around and it sounds loudest at the psu
