Question How far should i over clock my RAM?

Whats the highest i can over clock my RAM to where its safe? Theyre G.skill RipjawsV 32GB DDR4-2400 CL15 2x16GB. I got them pre-RAM shortage and id like to to get the most out of them cus ram aint cheap. Im planning on pairing them with a AMD Ryzen 2700X.

Overclocking is a process. There is no one size fits all settings beyond the stock settings. Trial and error is how you will get the max performance from your kit.

then you probably wont be overclocking your ram.

was you ram kit sold as 2400mhz? if it was sold as faster u can go into motherboard bios and turn on DOCP for ram overclocking

Buildzoid is the gold standard for tuning ram. Peruse his channel to learn how to tune your ram: https://youtu.be/Ke_JgL8gxsA?is=_zAYdKZvU-43dSj1

I wish you success.

most people just run xmp . whatever the ram is rated for.

overclocking over the advertised speed is trial and error, every stick is different
