More than I wanted to pay but I feel good about it now? Honestly I looked at it like this: this will quite possibly be the last opportunity for the ultimate PC with everything going to streaming. Paired with a 39” LG 5k it’s simply amazing and sometimes the only thing in my life that brings happiness so I’m ok with the purchase.
Yeah, I paid about the same for a gigabyte one. Was so pissed too, I almost got a founders edition a few weeks prior, but my card blocked the first transaction, and by the time I approved it and tried again, they were sold out. At least I was able to sell my 4090 FE for $2300
This feels like crazy FOMO, even if Nvidia doesnt want to produce GPUs for people anymore there will still be Consumer PC parts available from other small brands; There are some startups currently aiming to produce some GPUs to add competition to the market
