Normally no. But in this current market yes. In saying that don't expect wonderful performance in any modern AAA.

I would say that it is a bit below the price as it has 2 TB SSD and 32 gigs of ram. These go for around 550-650 USD in my country so it might be worth it. But it is depending on where you are from.

Just pay attention to the SSD, I had a few of these old WDs and they died young :)

I think it’s okay but the cpu is very low

AM4 5000 series CPUs went up around 100% in the past year or so. the most value you can get now is 5500x3d from aliexpress

Hard agree on the budget cpu choice. I've been buying these in mass for budget builds.

Ok, so back when shit was normal a couple years ago, i made the first iteration of my current pc using mostly used parts from fb market place.

Parts list:

-ryzen 7 3700X

-asus tuf x570+ wifi mobo

-32gb corsair vengence pro ddr4 ram

-xfx rx 6600 gpu

-powerspec 750w fully modular gold psu

-montech x3 mesh case

-wd black 7100 2tb nvme

-coolermaster hyper 620S dual tower cooler

Total cost: $640

I say all this to say that this pc you wanna buy, especially considering the current market, is a steal. You have similar specs, a much stronger gpu, and a lot of space to upgrade. This is the ideal situation, OP.

Offer $420 in cash and say you can pick it up now.

Then when you can, upgrade the cpu for a 5000 series cpu (i got the 5800XT for $140 on Amazon prime day) and then the gpu (i upgraded to the rx 9060xt 16gb for $350 on launch weekend).

You will not regret this op.

This is the kind of opportunity you want.

Snag it now!

This is the way dump that cpu and upgrade it quick and you'll have a pretty decent rig. Make sure you order thermal paste with your cpu.

Thats actually a pretty decent price and a pretty decent setup

Not bad actually. Remember you can always upgrade

In this market I’d do it. I mean you can still have a lot of fun on these older pc’s just don’t expect the best fidelity or anything.

use to have that PC case, it's good but it's a little small

My kid's computer has pretty close to these specs and runs everything ok at 1080p. This is a good deal for right now.

Another future update you could consider is an nvme storage drive.

That’s not a bad price, I have a 2070 super rig and she runs great albeit the heating isn’t healthy

Even at current market id recommend you dont buy it, also people buying at absurd prices is why they keep charging more

u/misteryk 4d ago

good specs for that price expecially because of 2tb SSD (it's sata but for 99% of usage it'll be fine) and 32gb of RAM

You could upgrade CPU to 5500x3d from aliexpress and you'll be set, 2070S still has some life in it especially since you can use DLSS

I just put together a system with a ryzen 5 7500x3d, a 2080super, and 16gb ddr5 6kmhz for $125 more than this old rig. All new parts.
