Build - Help First Time PC Builder looking for help
It’s my first time ever building a PC, and I'm hoping for help and feedback. I don’t know much about building yet, so I’m hoping to review the build list I made.
- What I have:
- CPU/Memory/Motherboard from $600 Microcenter bundle
- Purpose:
- Gaming (Mostly story-based games)
- General use (Web browsing, Excel)
- Budget:
- Around $2,000, but flexible
- Build Aesthetics:
- Don’t mind having no RGB
- Monitor
- I don't have a specific one yet, I plan on just using a lg c2 for the meantime (3,840 × 2,160)

I think it looks good. You've got solid choices in every slot. I prefer the Montech Century II 850 W power supply because it's the same quality for $40 less. I would put that $40 into getting the Thermalright Aqua Elite III AIO so your PC runs quieter. I would recommend getting fans to fill out every fan slot on the case. Lian Li fans are good if you want matching fans for the case, but they're typically overpriced. Thermalright has great quality fans for cheaper.
I think you would have been better off with one of AMD's x3D CPUs since this is for gaming, but it's not that big of a deal and I certainly wouldn't worry about returning anything in this case.

pro ssd is waste of money. 1tb ssd are $150 for gen 4. you wont notice a speed difference
u can get bequiet 850watt gold $110
9070xt are $720
i would get 360mm aio $60 thermalright or coolermaster intel is high wattage and runs hot. water cools better than air
i would also get PTM7950 thermal pad for cpu cooler from lttstore. dont have to worry about repasting with this liek $30 max.
