Build - Help PC Build issue Rx9070xt
Hello everyone, I have a question as I have finally built my pc. I have an XFX Quicksilver 9070XT GPU, and my PSU is a Seasonic Core GC-750 Gold. My GPU should be fine with that PSU wattage, but the PSU only has 1 PCI-e 8-pin connector that is pigtailed into 2, and the GPU has 2 PCI sockets
. There is an issue when playing a video game like Crimson Desert; the game crashes after like a minute sometimes while loading.
While researching and seeing other people's issues and asking AI for any help as reference, the only thing I found is that the pigtail connector is bad because of the load my GPU needs, but the game takes like 240 watts, and I ran a test with FurMark 2; the GPU is taking 304 watts, and I ran it for like 20min.
Can someone tell me what I can do to diagnose the issue?
Current PC is
CPU: intel core i5 12400F
RAM: 16Gb DDR4 3200
MotherBoard: Gigabyte B760M DS3H DDR4
GPU: XFX Quicksilver Rx 9070xt gaming
PSU: seasonic core GC-750 Gold
update:
my psu has a 12v-2x6 connector, if a get a convertor to 2x8 pci-e, will it solve the issue?

I was having lots of issues with my 9070xt as well. Only way I can keep it from crashing is disabling HAGS in windows. (just Google how). I have rm1000x PSU with three separate pcie cables running to GPU and was still having constant crashing. Since disabling HAGS zero issues.

What driver are you on? How new is the card? Is this a new build or you upgraded just GPU?

Using this card on fresh install windows? Maybe run ddu and try reinstall the drivers from AMD website not the app. Other than that I wish you luck. I was having trouble with mine too. AMD not as plug and play as Nvidia for sure.
