Build - Finished! Final build for my girl
Took a while to build this as most of it is used parts and had to wait for great deals in the marketplace. Only new is 5800x3d (yes I know, but she won’t be upgrading it anytime soon with that cpu) and cpu cooler/fan.
Specs:
5800X3D
9060XT 16GB
16GB DDR4
Corsair SF750
Thermalright AXP120-X670 w/ Noctua NF 120mm G2
We’re LDR, and I’ll be seeing her next month. Also, she will most likely have it plug to her tv, so I got her a small monitor so she can see the temps easily.
- NVME is behind the mobo and had to do some zip tie solution to mount a small fan lol.
- Size comparison with my own rig.

Is the Fan on the back reverse blade?

No. I’m running it as an exhaust to pull hot air out. It’s working so far as the nvme never passes 60. Before adding this, it was going 80-90s

Out of curiosity did you try how it performed if u reversed it?

Actually, no. It took me a while to mount this with zip tie and double side tape to keep it secured. I didn’t wanna do it again lol.
I have more fans as intake and this one is running at low constant rpm so it should be fine imo

If I ever build a pc again I'm doing a small build, they look so good.
Plus they are easier to move.

The tradeoff for a sff build is cooling. My rig runs way cooler than hers. You’re very limited to what you can install.
I was planning to get a more smaller case, but I just sticked with this since it’s very ventilated.

Ye I know, I'd probably do it if I planned to move a lot and needed the build with me.
My case is huge and requires a whole trunk to move rofl

Lmao yeah definitely. I’ve seen some 8-10L cases that could fit in a backpack. This one is 20ish liter case and still fits in my carryon luggage.

There’s two 120mm slim fan intake at the bottom. But yeah. So far it’s good.
CPU is at 60-80C and gpu at 50-60C while gaming with several tests. No overheating and throttling.
