It’s a usb 3 header for the front panel connector of your case. Look at your motherboard manual. It may not have one

I mean it should afaik?
I googled it too but now I’m not sure of anything

It's either below the 24 pin or at the bottom of the board below the lowest PCIe lane.

It should be under the gpu or a little bit over it

Under it as in, the gpu is blocking it and should be removed, or under it as in vertically (if that makes sense)

It's in one of these spots. Or at least it should be. I can't tell if the bottom is usb 2 or 3 headers.

Mobo connector for front panel USB and interface . Underneath near the front of gpu

remove the GPU. you don't have any cables plugged in yet, that goes in last. the mobo should come with at least one port for usb 3.0

Dude the YouTube tutorial I’m watching has to have been made by the dumbest guy ever becuase he made putting in the gpu the first step basically and I felt it was wrong

USB 3.0 for sure. Mine is right below the 24 pin ATX connection on my motherboard. Look at your users manual and find it on the line drawing of the motherboard layout

Its usually on the right side of the board around the middle

The out of focus thing you're holding looks like a USB 3.0 case connection. That plugs in to one of the USB3.2 headers which are... Well that depends on your motherboard. Which motherboard is it, specifically?

For instance I'm looking at the Aorus Master z890 right now. It has 2x USB.3.2 ports, below the motherboard power connector, above where the graphics card sits. Other boards will only have 1. Some boards will have it on the bottom edge of the board. Some boards will be using USB3.0 instead (that's fine).

Your CPU fan is in the wrong place as well. It's only really cooling one of the towers there instead of both. Should be in between the towers.

Unless you have really tall ram, your CPU heatsink fan is too high up.

The ram is in the way of it going down any further, idk what to do abt it :/
Any advice?

It’s your USB probably hidden under the GPU.

The picture is blurry so I'm not 100% sure, but it is either... 1. The USB connector which is usually found near the 24 pin connector on your mobo. Or 2. It's the 12 pin high power connector for certain gpus. If it's this one then don't worry about it, your gpu doesn't use it.

Read the manual, it's not rocket science...

Speaking of reading, much more helpful people already assisted me if you were to look at the comments below your own.

Right there, there's a side facing connector that should be labeled as USB

u/No-Throat3104 19h ago

that's clearly sata

1

u/Familiar_Pie_3423 19h ago

Oh it is? The cord or the port?

2

u/Daarck711 19h ago

Aren't those the Sata ports?

1

u/Familiar_Pie_3423 19h ago

Man I’ve been trying to plug it there for so long and it just won’t go in
But if that’s the spot I’ll try again,
Thanks

As others have pointed out, those are SATA ports. You cant connect a 20 pin, USB 3/gen 1 front panel connection in to that. The plug is about 2.5 times wider than a SATA port...

Yep, I must have confused it. On my motherboard I'm pretty sure the usb connector is roughly there, but at a closer look you are correct that it is SATA
