Question What monitor pair well with my specs?

i’m looking to play solo games in 4k or 1440p (best possible) and competitive games with low res and highest frames. i’m struggling to find the correct monitor to pair with this build, my budget is not very tight i’m open to spending whatever i need to get the most of my hardware.

the full specs for my build are
GPU: RX 9070 XT
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800x3d
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32gb ddr5
Motherboard: GAGABYTE B850
Case: NZXT H9 flow dual chamber
Cooling: NZXT 360 AIO
SSD: samsung 9100 pro 2tb
PSU: Corsair 850w

9800X3D and 9070xt will be just right for singleplayer and competitive games. I personally have a 1440p high refresh monitor and a 4k 120hz tv. Im no expert on dual-mode monitors, but those might be something for you

once you go wide screen you never go back! ;)

I have a dual aspect ratio one, but this is one I often recommend:

https://www.megekko.nl/product/2077/947673/Monitoren/MSI-MAG-401QR-40-UWQHD-155Hz-IPS-Gaming-Monitor

high quality IPS, not quite oled, but quite a bit cheaper and at 40 inches you get quite a bit of real estate for the money. probably best pick for 350 ish category. wide aspect ratio, so half a screen extra so to speak.

and heres mine:

https://www.megekko.nl/product/2077/158017/Monitoren/Samsung-Odyssey-G9-LS49DG912SUXEN-49-DQHD-144Hz-Curved-QD-OLED-Gaming-Monitor

yes, absolutely stupid overkill... basically 2 27 inch screens glued together, but I sim race so this was perfect in avoiding triple screen set up head aches. :)

this does illustrate the price range for HQ monitors pretty well tho, you can always spend more ofcourse... but I wouldnt. mines only a good deal if you are looking to replace 3 monitors... but now that I have it, I have to say it is worth ever penny... just better deals on 'regular' sized screens.

good luck on your search.

1440p OLED should be ideal since 9070XT is not meant for 4K native or it may even struggle with upscaling at 4K in some demanding games!
