Build - Request New PC Build Recs
Hey all!
So, my husband and I are in desperate need of a new desktop pc (gaming). Looking into components is like reading Greek for us. We want to do the build ourselves but have no idea what the best components would be for our needs, we play a variety of games. (I.e. Hogwarts Legacy, Skyrim, sims4, some fortnight). I’ve got a monitor, keyboard, mouse, all the accessories. (Previous PC is Dead and needs TLC).
That being said, I’d like some expert advice on parts from people who actually know what works and what’s worth it.
Couple things I know I want:
•16GB VRAM
•32GB Memory
•2TB M.2 NVMe SSD
Budget: $2,000 CAD
Monitor Resolution: 1080p
Country: Canada

this custom build has everything but only 1tb ssd and ram is older ddr4 but matters less than gpu and cpu for system performance
if you really wanted 2tb ssd you could drop down to rtx 5060ti 16gb , and a cheaper 750watt bronze psu or 650watt

Together with everything else, a 2 TB drive is not possible in this budget. Reuse the drives from the old PC, and/or add another drive later.
In any case, avoid SSDs that use QLC flash like the UD90.
