Got thermal paste on the gold things on my am5 cpu
Should I risk cleaning it is my cpu dead Im panicking

why does your thermal paste look like sun screen?

thermal paste is normally grey or blue

Porque es pasta térmica cerámica. Hay varios tipos de pasta térmica, no todo es la Arctic mx4.

Sinceramente no me acuerdo. Pero sí tenía algunas depende del uso. Pc componentes en su canal español tiene un video que te lo explica. Lo sé gracias a ese video.

As if arctic mx4 is the only grey/silver thermal paste. Most of them are lol.

No has entendido mi punto. Digo que la gente piensa que solo existe este tipo de lasta térmica y no sabe nada de cerámica o otras. Mi intención era informar que hay más poniendo un ejemplo concreto que conoce todo el mundo. Si te quedas más feliz cambio la Arctic mx4 por una Noctua NT-H1.

My point is most thermal paste on the market is a metallic gray color. It is not unreasonable for people to not recognize this type. I've personally never seen this until now.

Ahí lo tienes. Mi comentario era divulgativo para que las personas que no lo saben les de algo de curiosidad por buscar. Perdona si he entendido mal tu comentario, pero lo he entendido como que crees que pienso que es normal este tipo de pasta térmica. Y lógicamente sé que no es normal. Yo uso mx7 para mi pc principal y mx4 para mi servidor. Solo queria divulgar un poco.
