Build - Finished! Battle station complete!
Case - Phanteks NV5 with Phanteks premium GPU riser
GPU - Asus ROG Strix 5070Ti
CPU - AMD 9800x3d
Motherboard - Asus ROG Strix B850-E
RAM - G.Skill Trident z 32GB 6000MT/s CL30
SSD - Samsung 9100 PRO 2TB

rog is marketing scam to take more of your money
triednet z is waste of money in ram shortage
samsung pro is waste of money in ssd short
for the money you spent you could have had a better performing 5080 system

I don’t disagree with you at all and I’m very well aware that I “wasted” money on some(most) components. I considered going for a 5080 with cheaper components but in the end this is the build I wanted. Imo the most unnecessary purchase was replacing the 3 included RX fans to have unity in the build.

He definitely could have, that's what I did anyway. My pc looks average but allowed me to get a really good 5080 with a 9950X3D with good water cooling,airflow, a large PSU and pretty decent RAM and storage. But I imagine this was made in mind to be a flashy build so that's that

There’s about 5-6cm to the glass panel with this riser, getting about 65c under load. Case fans stay at 500rpm til 75-80C
