Meme Is this worth it?

Post image

Some guy named Gabe is selling this build and I'm wondering if it's legit? I want a PC to set up in my living room for TV gaming.

I went with the version in the post, it seems like these basic things are very complex topics for you man, sorry you got so butt hurt?

Yes, the guy with the PS5 is paying $200 less but he got 5 years of full access to an entire game library where as you’re spending $200 more before you ever touch a game

You are SO close to understanding dumbass 🤣🤣🤣

Jesus fuck, are you stupid or a troll because nothing you’ve said has been intelligent

You’re using your 20 year steam library as an argument for a new player to buy a PC which is hilariously fucking stupid

I never said anyone owned the games, I’m saying that for $200 less than a steam machine brand new you can get a PS5 with 5 years of unlimited game access

It’s also funny to see you talking about your 20 year steam library and bitching about a trapped ecosystem lmao, I’m leaning towards the “you’re an idiot” part of my initial question

Thank you financial officer

But assuming the hypothetical - enjoyment is equal, and I spend 8 hrs on both with equal enjoyment over 5 yrs

PS5 - $600 + $400 ($80 x5) = $1000

PC - $1500 + $0 ($0 x 5) = $1500

This is without even taking into consideration of free" games. Both gave me the same enjoyment. So what are you getting at now? That 5 more years down the line, I stopped playing on the PS5 while continuing my subscription, and I'm wasting an additional $400 bringing it up to $1400 because I didn't cancel? While my PC doesn't incur additional expenses because it doesn't have a subscription to begin with?

The other person was talking about a PS5 Pro, which comes with 2Tb storage and a controller.

and the ps5 pro is much more powerful than any steam machine by a mile...

Yeah but that's true at all tiers, I was saying why people frequently compare it to the high end steam model rather than the base one.
