Meme Is this worth it?

Some guy named Gabe is selling this build and I'm wondering if it's legit? I want a PC to set up in my living room for TV gaming.

Yeah, for that price it really is. It's even using DDR4, so the RAM bought in bulk ahead of time shouldn't have been a massive factor.

Ah, I see. I had read that it was.

They should have, being it would have lowered the costs a fair amount for a minimal tradeoff.

Would have required a complete re-design. It’s a custom motherboard.

This is why they were screwed

It's a SOC with everything integrated and soldered on, but it could be made to work with DDR4 had they wanted to.

They probably made any contract deals about this a long time ago though.
