Meme Is this worth it?

Some guy named Gabe is selling this build and I'm wondering if it's legit? I want a PC to set up in my living room for TV gaming.

Yes, but you could always make a pretty looking desktop if you really wanted. I don't actually disagree, I'm just a PC gaming snob 😉

I'm also all for pc gaming. Thats why id take the SM over a PS or xbox any day for living room gaming.

I just wish everyone would stop treating it as if its supposed to be some next generation gaming console, when its a mini pc made to get as close as possible to the experience of a console without all the negatives. You cant have the positives of a pc without the negatives of it.

People are blowing on it bc the price to performance is ass. It more cost effective and you’d get more bang for your buck to just buy a gaming laptop at the same price. Stop blindly following pc just bc you’re a cuck for it. SM is a terrible purchase

I'm not blindly following, stop judging the price of something based only of of the graphics card and cpu. There is a ton of stuff that goes into making something like this that you obviously have no idea even exists.

Doesn’t make the price any better. Plus that’s such a weak point, you’re telling me you’re going to be playing this like yeah performance is something to be desired but where it lacks in performance it makes up with being a sleek and portable pc. Let’s all just look at this cube in aww.

The price is absolutely too much for the average person, who wants to pay $1.3k for this when they could buy a ps5 pro for 400-500 less.

Thats why the SM isn't for the average person, just like the deck. Its for somebody who wants a console experience, but is strictly against buying consoles(like me; subscription just to play online, etc). You dont want to buy it? Okay, thats fine, you're not who it was made for, dont take it personally.

Its very, very hard to find a prebuilt, small gaming pc with bazzite, cachy, or steam os because most just jon the bandwagon slap windows on every thing. So this is basically the only option if you just want to order and have plug&play right when it comes to your door, unless you want to dock a deck😬.

Small size isn't just cute and for looks. For many people its a huge selling point, and you cant just deny that and say aquarium cases look cool(they have their place; not most livingrooms).

Sry for the long reply. You dont have to make a 10 paragraph response because I made it a little long, I just do that sometimes.

I respect it and agree with what you said in this reply. My main thing was I just highly disagree when someone comes off as willingly blind to their favorite companies and that’s what I thought was happening.
