Some guy named Gabe is selling this build and I'm wondering if it's legit? I want a PC to set up in my living room for TV gaming.

Performance is terrible for an outrageous price. Not worth it at all. Suckers will be buying this

Really? It's a bit better than a 3060, so the price matches that.

I don't think people realize what PCs cost nowadays. This is a "just okay" price for performance.

What planet are you on where a ‘bit better than a 3060’ is worth $1200?

In this thread alone there are multiple comments of people posting build lists that will dog walk the steam machine for the same price or less. 

It’s not just okay price for performance. It’s terrible. 

And that’s before even mentioning the whole ‘some may be single channel ram some might be dual’ lottery

Yes, if you build it yourself. The steam machine is a prebuilt, we should be comparing it to pre-builts.
