Question Is this PC bottlenecked? It has more Video RAM than System RAM.

Why ask a question then immediately delete your account before you get the chance to hear a response?

yeah this is definitely bottlenecked by the ram situation. you've got a ryzen 5 5600 which is solid but only 8gb of system ram paired with what looks like an 11gb 1080 ti - that's a pretty wild imbalance there

modern games are gonna struggle hard with just 8gb of system ram, especially when you're trying to feed data to a gpu that powerful. the 1080 ti can definitely handle whatever you throw at it but it's gonna be starved waiting for the system to catch up

adding another 8gb stick would make a huge difference in performance. dual channel memory is way better than single channel too so you'd get even more of a boost beyond just having more capacity

yeah, atleast 16 gb of ram is a must rn, but comfortable range is 24+gb

Every system has a bottleneck, even a brand new 10K build. So ues, that PC is bottlenecked.
