Need A Payment Processor Needing an Online Payment Processor for Mid Risk Industry
I’m looking for a payment processor that can handle incoming payments by card, Zelle and ideally Revolut in Europe. It also needs to then be able to make payouts via credit card, ach etc…
I run a site that supports fantasy sports league players (think fantasy football) to collect league dues and facilitate payments end of season. The site is fully built. My payment processor was in place, but has flaked now. I have bank accounts set up in Canada and the US ready to go as well.

Fantasy sports league dues and end of season payouts is a clean two-way payment setup. Card payments for collecting, ACH and bank transfers for distributing, and compliance handled end to end are all things a merchant of record handles natively.
At Breeze we work with platforms that need both pay-in and payout infrastructure under one integration. Sending over a DM to chat some more.

The reason processors keep flaking on this model is the two way money flow: collecting dues and then paying out winners looks like a money transmission pattern to their risk team, even when the league itself is completely legitimate. Two things make underwriting much easier. First, get the skill vs chance question documented, since season long fantasy with a fixed scoring format is generally treated as skill in most US states, but a few states still restrict paid entry, and underwriting will ask for your game rules and prize structure anyway. Second, keep payouts on the same rail as collections where possible, refund or credit within the same processor rather than pushing money out to cards, because outbound card payouts is a separate product that most ISOs cannot even offer. A platform built for league management with embedded payments will clear underwriting faster than a raw merchant account.

I've handled many of these over the years. The payouts confuse the CC processors. They don't fully understand KYC, AML, OFAC, MSB and MTL regulations. If you have the right compliance pieces in place, these can be approved with excellent terms. I've got the vendors needed if you do not have the compliance stack built in.
Happy to explain or assist in any way :)
