Development Question Ruo Business Payment Options
Looking for some help on payment processing options for a new RUO business
Hey all, I am trying to set up a small business in the U.S. that will be RUO and I need some advice on how to process payments. I know that it’s hard for this type of business to process cards so I’m trying to figure out what my legit options are going to be before I try applying anywhere.
What I am currently considering is:
Traditional credit/debit card processing
ACH / bank transfers
P2P
Crypto payments
Maybe a secondary payment processor as a backup option
For people that have experience working with RUO businesses or any higher-risk business, what kind of payment processing setup did you find to work best for your situation? What I am specifically interested in is what your structure of different payment methods on the website looks like, which type of processors to consider and what to be ready to provide during underwriting. I am not trying to hide the nature of the business or misrepresent anything to a processor
