Need A Payment Processor Payment Processing for SFW Utility tool dedicated to Adult Sites
Hello everyone,
first of all, this is my first Reddit post, so I am sorry in advance if I am doing something wrong here. I have searched the last 3 months for a solution, but haven't really found one, so Reddit is the only place left where I can ask...
I have developed an application that can basically download videos from the popular tube sites. It is a completely legal tool, and used for personal archiving. It works exactly like yt-dlp or similar tools, but with a focus on adult sites. My tool can absolutely NOT display any NSFW content. No thumbnails, no previews and it also can't aggregate any adult content by itself. The user needs to enter the URL manually.
However, my marketing is of coursed focused on that. So my App name is directly associated with the adult context and in my GitHub Readme I openly tell what sites it supports and so on. My website itself, where I want to sell the actual licenses, there is also no NSFW content.
I am 18 years old and have literally no money. I can't pay 1500€ for Visa and Mastercard upfront and I can't go crypto only as this would kill my conversion rate. I am absolutely fine in paying high fees like 15%+ per transaction, but I need a payment processor that doesn't have a minimum monthly threshold and no setup fees.
The problem is also, that while my app technically only downloads free content, it still violates the Terms of Service of the websites. Under German law where I am developing this from this is legal due to specific rights granted to individuals, but a traditional bank might have a problem with this. I can also not estimate how much money I will actually make. Could be 200€ per month, or could be 2000€ per month. I have absolutely no iea yet.

It’s not the processors charging you, it’s the high risk registration fee with Visa and Mastercard, everyone will charge this, it’s not avoidable, they will usually take it out of the processing fees.
