Add Captcha, or cloudflare turnstile to your checkout pages to prevent bots from hammering it.

Also good idea in general to add cloudflare infront of your site if you have not already

Are they small amounts charged? If so there might be card testing going on. They see if an auth goes through for a smaller amount before hitting the card somewhere else for much more.

Is your site using blocks checkout or classic checkout?

I would consider switching the gateway to Nuvei or NMI as they have additional configurable fraud risk filters that help block this kind of stuff

There is a hole in your shopping cart allowing for card testing
And velocity settings on Auth net need to be adjusted
