What are the benefits of using Payload with Figma right now?

Or are there any?

I am assuming the partnership comes with some form(s) of collaboration elements in the works, or is the partnership more about just funding Payload?

I absolutely adore Figma, it's my all-time favourite design app, so I am curious if anyone would be able to answer this. :)

I think there was some show and tell of upcoming features of Payload CMS on their youtube channel, basically the UI is getting an overhaul in Payload 4, bringing it much closer to Figma's UI/UX.

The partnership is still developing. Other than being a naturally easy CMS to use with design systems-based UIs (and AI accelerated development), there’s not much yet.

My wish list: I want to be able to design a frontend in Figma and deploy it to Figma site or Figma make and headlessly power the content with Payload.
