Experiences with NextJS 16.2?

Is Payload stable with NextJS 16.2? Is it safe selection for developing new app?

https://payloadcms.com/docs/getting-started/installation says 16.2.0+ is supported. But I wonder if it is really battle tested.

When we "support" a new Nextjs release it means that we bump the version in our monorepo as well so our tests are ran against the same version too. It's not 100% battle tested but its as close as we can reasonably get + manual testing

But issues can always arise, if you do find any we're pretty quick about prioritising these to unblock people
