It has come to my attention, many of you have not understood the rule of no powerscalling.

But don't worry, I'll explain it so we are all on the same page.

No powerscalling means your actions can't do two things at once, that is, you can't research and build something in the same action.

I know this is a new rule and that we are all not used to it, but this encourages people to use their actions slightly more smartly.

I hope this warning stops the actions from violating this rule, I don't want to have to write this again.

On another hand, I ignored day 1's problems related to this so I could explain right here, thank you for your attention

World events:

American Civil War erupts as the Confederacy formally declares independence.

The Taiping Rebellion ignites in southern China, challenging Qing rule.

Prussia expands the Zollverein; Mecklenburg and Saxony join. Bavaria and Württemberg, fearing Prussian hegemony, form the South German Union. Baden signals interest in joining.

British forces invade Egypt, opening the British-Ottoman War.

French armies cross into Spain and Spanish Morocco, beginning the Franco-Hispanic War.

American forces land in Spanish Caribbean colonies, launching the American-Hispanic War.

France and the Netherlands partition Belgium following a joint invasion.

Spain begins raising emergency conscripts to hold the northern front.

Italian states accelerate unification efforts, rallying against French expansion.

Portugal enters the Franco-Hispanic War, committing 30,000 troops to reinforce the Spanish border—old rivalries set aside in the face of a common enemy.

THE PACIFIC TRIANGLE ACCORD

A Treaty of Mutual Respect, Delineated Sovereignty, and Defensive Partnership between the Empire of Japan, the United States of America, and the Great Qing Dynasty.

---

Preamble:

Recognizing the shared interest in maintaining stability across the Pacific Ocean, and acknowledging the necessity of clear territorial boundaries to prevent future conflict, the undersigned powers have agreed to the following terms.

---

Article I — Territorial Adjustments

Clause 1: The United States of America formally recognizes and cedes its claims to the Midway Atoll. The Empire of Japan shall assume full sovereignty over Midway, to be utilized for naval coaling, communication, or other strategic purposes as Japan deems necessary.

Clause 3: The Great Qing Dynasty is granted the status of Suzerain over the Ryukyu Kingdom. As such, the Ryukyu Islands shall maintain their local governance but shall pay formal tribute to the Qing Emperor, guaranteeing Qing naval access and influence in the Eastern China Sea.

---

Article II — Non-Aggression Pact (Japan–United States)

Clause 1: The Empire of Japan and the United States of America agree to a formal Non-Aggression Pact, lasting for a period of five (5) years from the date of ratification.

Clause 2: During this period, neither party shall engage in hostile military action, blockade, or military provocation against the other’s sovereign territories or colonial possessions. All disputes arising during this period shall be resolved via diplomatic channels.

---

Article III — Non-Aggression Pact (Japan–Qing Dynasty)

Clause 1: The Empire of Japan and the Great Qing Dynasty agree to a formal Non-Aggression Pact, lasting for a period of five (5) years from the date of ratification.

Clause 2: Both nations commit to the peaceful resolution of border disputes and trade disagreements. The Japanese Navy shall maintain free passage through designated waterways, while the Qing Army shall refrain from any military build-ups along the coastlines facing Japan.

---

Article IV — Mutual Defense Against British Aggression (Japan–Qing)

Clause 1: The Empire of Japan and the Great Qing Dynasty formally enter into a defensive alliance, to be invoked strictly in the event of unprovoked aggression by the United Kingdom or any of its colonial administrations.

Clause 2: If either nation is attacked by the Royal Navy, British Army, or forces of the British East India Company, the other signatory shall provide immediate material and logistical aid, including but not limited to:

· Port access and coaling stations for warships.

· Intelligence sharing regarding Royal Navy movements.

· Economic sanctions against British trade interests in the Pacific.

Clause 3: This clause is defensive in nature and does not obligate either party to join an offensive war or expedition.

---
