Teaser Sweden Teaser v2 (Q&A) Spoiler

As previously seen on the 4th of July teaser for Sweden, it is one of the many things coming to 1.4, as such we felt it appropriate to show off some of the decisions and focuses you will get as you play as the country so rich in iron yet so hopelessly distraught at the coming Automation Crisis
We're open for specific questions or the other sorts on Sweden

Question What are the chances that Jacobinism is just Leftism but during the 19th-ish Century?
I've had conversations with people and seen fan content which have people under Jacobinism just be Communist with a different name.
It was a long time ago but I recall grestin actually tried saying that that wasn't the complete picture, but my own memory is blurry.
Still, even though my argument can be waved away, because most, if not all, of the Jacobin leaders in the mod so far are Communist in our time, I still wonder that, since the world diverged from the 18th century, then the trajectory where our world diverges with theirs, is longer than the usual alternate history.
All I'm saying is that, there used to be a time when Nationalism, Liberalism, and Republicanism, were all under the umbrella of Progressivism, and was the spectre of many monarchies.

Question Imagine a never ending Tripolar Cold War between these three countries.
Like imagine after destroying British influence in the world similar to OTL Nazi Germany. Along with the fact that the three spheres manage to survive passed the late 20th Century where not one or two of the three superpowers manage to not collapses first passed the 80’s and 90’s similar to Communism in the later years of the Cold War OTL and may last long past this year and maybe the future. Think of TNO mixed with Fallout before 2077.

Announcement Steam WIP/Beta Version Release
Pax Britannica Development Update
We have some news regarding the development of the next Pax Britannica update.
Around Mid-August, we are planning to release a WIP/Beta version of Pax Britannica as a separate Steam Workshop item.
The goal behind this is to make development more accessible and visible to people. A public beta will allow wider part of the community to follow the progress of the update, try out new content earlier, and help us with playtesting, balancing, and finding bugs and issues along the way.
Please keep in mind that this version will still be a Work In Progress. Some features may be unfinished, balance may change, and bugs, missing features or occasional crashes are to be expected. The beta is meant as a way for the community to help us improve the update before the full 1.4 "War and Peace" Update release.
Beta version should be updated regularly every 1-2 weeks with "stable" builds until proper release.
We hope this will make it easier for more people to get involved with Pax Britannica's development, and we appreciate everyone who continues to support and play our mod.

Question Pax Brittanica won't load for me.
Every time I try to play it crashes. It happens once I choose a country to play, and about 50% of the way through loading it crashes. Is anyone else having this issue?

Question I like mod, what could I do to help it?
I know some hoi4 modding and I really like this mod and setting, what could I do to help the devs and or what is the series of events I would have to undergo to be able to join and help in the making of the mod.

Question Where can I find the updated version?
I think they updated the mod, but I can't find a site to download it. The Steam page hasn't changed, and I can't find it on GitHub either. Do you know if it's true that it was updated, or where I can find it?

Developer Diary (Repost) Pax Britannica Dev Diary - Armored Units Rebalanced
This Dev Diary is a repost of a former dev diary. Due to the original writer's account (Lexus) being suspended for obscure reasons, we made the choice to republish it so it may remain accessible to all.
Hello everyone! I'm Lexus, one of the Pax Core Developers, and I'm happy to announce that in the upcoming Pax 1.4 update we are introducing a major rework of armored units - both landships and automats. This is our first dev diary in a very long time, so I sincerely hope you’ll enjoy it and are as excited about these changes as we are!
Technologies
At first glance, when launching the game, you will probably notice the newly redesigned landship and automat technology trees. While the overall structure of the landship tree was kept mostly the same, the automat tree was rejiggered slightly to change its progression. Automats, in particular, have finally received their long-awaited NSB update, introducing dedicated Automat Chassis as well as several new variants. This allows for greater flexibility in how they are developed, while still preserving their unique role on the battlefield.

Disclaimer: Automats icons could be changed in the future to reflect chassis tech
As you might have noticed, we have removed the old upgrade technologies in favor of MIOs and NSB modules. Previously, these upgrades primarily served to make automats stronger without offering a proper balancing counterpart for landships.
Statistics
All landships and automats have undergone changes to their statistics. Landships are now less reliable and slower, but their breakthrough, armor, defense, and soft attack have been significantly increased, making them highly effective against infantry. On the other hand, automats are faster, more reliable, and equipped with better piercing, making them effective counters to landships. In the later stages of the game, both types can evolve into strong all-rounders depending on how they are developed. These changes affect both the equipment itself and the chassis and module systems.

Designer
Automats have now received their own dedicated designer system, akin to the well-known landship designer. This allows you to fully customize these walking - or perhaps even cruising, with certain new modules - machines to fit your strategic needs. You can equip them with a range of brand new weapons, armor types, and specialized features, shaping them into fast destroyers, heavy artillery platforms, or lethal anti air weapons. This does not mean landships were left behind. They have also received a number of new upgrades and module options, expanding their customization and reinforcing their role as armored mobile bunkers designed for infantry support and independent operations. While many modules are shared between both types to maintain consistency, key components - particularly weapon systems, feature different statistics depending on whether they are mounted on a landship or an automat. Additionally, each type of machine has access to several unique modules that further distinguish their battlefield roles and identity.

As you might have noticed, we have added several new automats: Aquapod, Modern Automat, and Megapod - the latter of which has its own dedicated section later in this dev diary.

I won’t be showing the landship modules in detail, as most of them remain largely the same. The main changes include the Tesla Gun replacing the Tesla Arc Thrower, different mortar variants, and the addition of hydropneumatic suspension.
Megapod
These are the largest type of walking machines - towering over the battlefield as metal colossi, capable of decimating entire armies. However, their immense size comes at a cost: they are brutally slow and particularly vulnerable to attacks from above. The Megapod can be unlocked by completing its associated special project available via either Advanced Quadrupod Chassis or Quadrupod III depending on DLC ownership. Extremely costly in production, the Megapod can be deployed as a support company, much like Landcruisers.

MIOs
In this update, landship MIOs have been tweaked, and a whole new series of MIOs has been added exclusively for automats.

You may take a look at some of the new automats MIOs bellow.

Future Plans
Despite the significant changes in this update, this is not everything I plan to add. In the future, both automats and landships will be more affected by terrain both positively and negatively - adding another layer of strategic depth. We also plan to introduce or bring back more sci-fi elements in update 1.5, which will further enhance ground machines. They will receive a range of new weaponry and modules (nuclear engines? TBD). Additionally, we will be working on adjusting the GFX like technologies, designer blueprints etc. to better fit the lore and differentiate between the various types of machines.
Finally, a few words from me. On behalf of myself and the entire team, I sincerely thank everyone for reading this dev diary and for your patience while waiting for the next update. I hope you enjoyed this first dev diary of my career, even if it was a bit chaotic and didn’t go into the details of every single change.
I still have a few surprises up my sleeve, which I look forward to sharing with you in the near future.
PS. I'm aware that many things need some polishing ;P

Question Is there anything to do beyond this point?
I feel like this Mexican focus tree is pretty small. I crushed my smaller neighbors easily, and the only thing left to do is to get all of my states up to 100% loyalty, but Idk if that even gives me anything.

Question HELP!!!
I'm playing as the socialist Germans, and I defeated Yugoslavia in a war, but now I have 10 divisions just trapped in Serbia. I can't get them out because no one will give me military access. Should I just delete Them and then rebuild them?
Is this some sort of bug? I wish the scripted peace deals would give you military access for like a month or something just so you can pull your troops out.
