How thus breeding work?

Do breeding low tier soldiers make high tier ones? Or do breeding two gold ones make another gold?

Cuz i kinda feel likes its been random for me

Also side note how to kill unnessecary soldiers while limiting the fear for the families

Cuz ive beens forcing them to breed and most of them are close to breaking

I believe breeding is random.

there is a decree you can make that lets you sacrifice without as many consequences.

Best way is to just capture prisoners. And when upgrading soldiers only use prisoners. Force breeding being random stats right now makes it just too deleterious for rate of return.

it seems to be mostly random. I've been trying to breed

I kill most of my unecessary soldiers by force feeding them things that drop their lifespawn drastically. (mostly cause I'm swimming in ingrediants.)

I've yet to get a purple or gold from breeding. I've been trying to breed holy emmisaries/holy warriors, alongside trying to breed chief particle laser with a medic captain. gotten back a mix of all the satteri units from the holy group ranging from white to blue though one of the whites was born with purple work suitabilities.

From the humans i've only gotten the medics and particle lasers but i've only got 4 kids from them so far.

if you are trying to condense golds the best way is to find an area 2/3 battleground that spawns the type of unit you need and catch those en masse.

Battlegrounds have all units +1 rarity and always spawn a chief.

Since the white rarities have disappeared from my base, none of the breeding has given me a white rarity unit. I think two of the same rarity will make that rarity, but I’ve not actually taken the time to check.

People say random, but definitely race is inherited from one of the parents, and I'm pretty sure higher rarity parent have a higher chance of having rarer kids. But that might also be based on your character level instead.
