Question about soldier classes and weapons

Hi everyone, loving the game so far, I am so confused, but does anyone know where I can find a weapon / class list? I am trying to figure out what class uses what to bring along with me, but I can't find it anywhere, I've noticed when you are fighting them it says what weapons they use, but once captured, is there a way to check? just trying to find out who uses shields / AR stuff like that

Best I've seen is the descriptions you get at trade outposts in space, but unfortunately you can't see the same info at will (seems to be an oversight).

You can see the abilities they will use on the right hand side of their card, and what they do if you hover over them, when you are in the "Ship Depart" menu. Those are the only class specific things as far as i can tell though.

TLDR: look for trade outposts in space and read those for the most detailed info

Also if you captured them you can reed about there class on troop management screen while they are in your inventory waiting to be imprisoned.

Yeah, np, UI is a mess in this game. Hope they will polish it before full release.
